HOW WILL WE WALK OUR CITIES IN THE FUTURE?

DIPL.-ING. ARCHITECTURE

M.A. URBAN FUTURES

I am urbanist and transformative researcher (M.A. Urban Futures), coming from the field of architecture, construction and design. My work passion lies in Human Mobility and Space Use research, with keen interest in promoting transdisciplinary and user-centered urban research/planning. Having had the opportunity to work in the South Asian region of dynamic, high-density Singapore, I would like to continue to work in an interdisciplinary environment and contribute to the global networking and understanding of what the future urban habitat should look like in terms of «Conscious Human Mobility and Space Use» within my Human Mobilty domain of The Centre for Conscious Design.

In global terms, urban society is moving away from the model of a «car-friendly» city towards an environment on a «human scale». The question arises as to what extend the future urban living space should look like in terms of new mobility and appropriation of space - and in the context of digitalization and technological progress.
