HOW WILL WE WALK OUR CITIES IN THE FUTURE?

Transformative Research

Conscious Human Mobility & Space Use

I am urbanist and transformative researcher (M.A. Urban Futures), coming from the field of architecture and design. My work passion lies in human mobility and space use research, with keen interest in promoting transdisciplinary user-centered urban research/planning. Having had the privilege to explore what constitutes «Pedestrian Comfort» in high-density tropical Singapore, I am further ambitious to contribute to global connectivity and collective understanding in a participatory-driven way - what the future urban habitat will look like in relation to «Conscious Human Mobility and Space Use». Let's exchange on this within my Human Mobility area, as well as in our newly opened Conscious Berlin chapter of The Centre for Conscious Design (CCD)

In global terms, urban society is moving away from the model of a «car-friendly» city towards an environment on a «human scale». The question arises as to what extend the future urban living space should look like in terms of new mobility and appropriation of space, and seen in the context of digitalization and technological progress.
