DIPL.-ING. ARCH, MA URBAN FUTURES

Conscious Human Mobility (CHM)

HOW WILL WE WALK OUR CITIES IN THE FUTURE?

In global terms, urban society is moving away from the model of a «car-friendly» city towards an environment on a «human scale». The question arises as to what extend the future habitats should look like in terms of future oriented mobility and sustainable use of space - regarded in the context of digitalization and technological progress.

I am transformative researcher, coming from the field of architecture and design. My work passion lies in human mobility and space use research, with keen interest in promoting cross-disciplinary work and participatory design. Having had the privilege to explore what constitutes «Pedestrian Comfort» in high-density tropical Singapore, I am further ambitious to contribute to global understanding what the future urban habitat will look like in relation to «Conscious Human Mobility (CHM) and Space Use». Let's exchange on this within my Human Mobility area, as well as in our newly opened Conscious Berlin chapter of The Centre for Conscious Design (CCD)
