HOW WILL WE WALK OUR CITIES IN THE FUTURE?
M.A. URBAN FUTURES
I am urbanist and transformative researcher (M.A. Urban Futures), coming from the field of architecture, construction and design. My work passion lies in Human Mobility and Space Use research, with keen interest in promoting transdisciplinary and user-centered urban research/planning. Having had the privilege of researching what constitutes «Pedestrian Comfort» in high-density tropical Singapore, I am further ambitious to work in an interdisciplinary environment, contribute to global networking and collective understanding - what the future urban habitat will look like in relation to «Conscious Human Mobility and Space Use». Let's exchange on this within my Human Mobility area of The Centre for Conscious Design.

In global terms, urban society is moving away from the model of a «car-friendly» city towards an environment on a «human scale». The question arises as to what extend the future urban living space should look like in terms of new mobility and appropriation of space - and in the context of digitalization and technological progress.
